In 2012 Two of the Greatest M.Cs of all time sat for a joint interview for MTV Overdrive.Rakim and Nas talked about the similarities between the 2 of them. Nas spoke about Rakim's influence on him. Nas speaks about meeting Rakim in the studio for the first time. Rakim speaks about blasting "Halftime" and how "New York State of Mind" is one of his favorite Nas songs.
